Apache JuntionNew and lower development fees will take effect in Apache Junction on Monday, August 4, 2014. A Resolution adopted earlier this year by the City Council reflects Apache Junction’s overall attitude towards development and should encourage developers to come to Apache Junction. Single-family impact fees are decreasing 46 percent, from $9,139 to $4,925 per unit. Commercial fees decrease by 58 percent, from $15.43 to $6.52 per square foot.

This change makes Apache Junction’s development fees significantly lower than fees in surrounding areas.  Jordan Rose, President and Founder of Rose Law Group pc says, “This change will certainly be well received by the development industry and make Apache Junction competitive in attracting economic development.”  Hudd Hassell, an East Valley Developer, shares, “If it wasn’t for this change, our 80 home Ironwood and Southern project would still be on the shelf. For a Government agency, Apache Junction has been incredible to work with.”
