Scottsdale candidates talk infrastructure reinvestment

Voters will elect three from a field of eight candidates seeking a seat on Scottsdale City Council at the Tuesday, Aug. 26 primary election.

Scottsdale Councilmembers Bob Littlefield, Linda Millhaven and Dennis Robbins have seats expiring this December.

Both Councilwoman Millhaven and Councilman Robbins are seeking re-election while Councilman Littlefield is now termed out and is seeking one of two seats in District 23 of at the Arizona House of Representatives.

Each seat up for grabs is for four years and those elected will take office in January 2014.

The eight candidates seeking a seat on Scottsdale City Council are: Michael Auerbach, Bill Crawford, Cindy Hill, David Smith, Jennifer Petersen, Kathy Littlefield, Linda Milhaven and Dennnis Robbins.

The ninth installment of the question-and-answer series is on what these candidates say should be the city’s No. 1 priority when addressing infrastructure reinvestment and the impact the most recent bond election fallout will have on local streets and facilities.
