Out-of-towners continue to buy Prescott-area homes

There isn’t a cash register for sales of Prescott area homes, but if there was one, it would be ringing loudly.

While the volume of sales has not been huge, prices continue to climb.

From July 7-21, 50 Prescott homes were sold, with an average price or $319,458.

In Prescott Valley for the same time period, 24 homes were sold, with an average price of $229,578.

Chino Valley had 11 homes sold, with an average price or $156,272. Dewey-Humboldt also had 11 homes sold, with an average price of $196,777.
