DR Horton should see more success with recent lots purchased in Tucson

According to public record, DR Horton closed on 11 lots in Belfiore Real Estate Consulting’s South Tucson Submarket at Casitas Del Sol Estates.  Located east of Mission Road and north of Irvington Road, DR Horton purchased these 11 – 45’ x 110’ lots for $308,000 ($28,000 per lot/ $622 per finished front foot, click here to view affidavit).  Casitas Del Sol Estates was partially built out in 2006 by Standard Pacific Homes, and only 41 lots remain to be built. The seller in the transaction, Antigua Associates LLC, still controls 30 lots in the subdivision, which Belfiore assumes will be purchased by DR Horton.

DR Horton has seen some success in South Tucson.  During Belfiore’s most recent visit, both Caddis Haley and Sonoran Ranch Estates had a combined 20 units remaining to sell.
