Garrett Development venture adds to massive land holdings in Buckeye

With its recent purchase of just under 400 acres, companies formed by Jeff Garrett of Garrett Development in Phoenix and the Kemper & Ethel Marley Foundation in Phoenix have assembled 1,500 + acres in Buckeye that is targeted for a residential community with about 4,500 homes. KEMF Westwind North LLC and KEMF Westwind SH LLC paid $5.425 million ($13,839 per acre) to acquire 392 acres at the northeast corner of Lower Buckeye and Wilson roads. The seller was Westwind North LLLP, a limited partnership formed by Harvard Investments Inc. in Scottsdale (Paul Hill, Craig Krumwiede, Chris Cacheris, principals).
