SRP extends deadline for Chandler power line project

SRP says power lines are needed to address future power needs along Price Corridor in Chandler, home to numerous high-tech companies

Utility will extend time to for landowners to respond to Jan. 9

If deals with reservation landholders can’t be worked out, SRP expects to move ahead with alternative route through Chandler

Salt River Project is extending the filing date for an East Valley power line project to provide more time to negotiate deals with land holders on the Gila River Reservation that would allow the lines to cross their land.
