Florence sued over General Store fire

Florence Reminder

Nearly four years after the Florence General Store burned down, the town of Florence is being sued by the store’s owner for failing to save the 121-year-old building.

Assistant Town Manager Jess Knudson confirmed this week that the trial was scheduled to begin this week. He said the building’s owner, Dr. Tom Masters, was suing the town over the Fire Department’s response to the fire.
