Medical marijuana: Cultivation site to open in Coolidge

When Ray Halbe found out his healthy wife had cancer, everything changed.

After researching alternative methods to chemotherapy, the family decided to start using an oil extracted from marijuana to ease nausea symptoms caused by the chemo.

“Her quality of life was impeccably changed,” the Coolidge resident said. “I watched those people who came in with her start to diminish. She was out running two miles a day, after chemo. … That’s why I’m all in.”
