Florence Copper Project receives state permit

FLORENCE — Florence Copper has received the final version of the state environmental permit it needs for a test run of its in-situ copper mine in Pinal County, the company announced on its website Friday.

Approximately 250 people gathered at the Florence High School gym in May to offer comments on the permit. The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality responded to every written and oral comment. These and other permit details are found athttp://azdeq.gov/pn/app106360.
