County approves retail rezoning near Gilbert

A new, two-building retail center could be going up on 2.4 acres near the NEC of Higley Road and Loop 202 in a currently un-annexed portion of Gilbert. The Maricopa County Planning and Zoning Commission recommended conditional approval of a request to re-zone the property from rural to commercial last month. The Board approved the request in its October 5 meeting.
