Would you want your model homes to be outfitted via a computer? It may be the future of interior design.

Engineers at software company Autodesk recently created a piece of furniture via artificial intelligence (AI) using sophisticated algorithims and CAD-based engineering software. The midcentury modern-inspired Elbo chair is one of the first home furnishings examples of generative design, where computers speed up the iterative process of testing different design prototypes, according to this article.
