Work on downtown-area housing gets underway in Tucson

Rendering shows West End Station, a 70 unit complex west of downtown for low to middle income families.

A new housing development is going up near downtown Tucson for low- and moderate-income families.

The 70-unit rental complex, West End Station, will be located at 855 W. Congress St., on the west side of Interstate 10.

The joint venture between Gorman & Co. and the Gadsden Co. celebrated groundbreaking at the site on Tuesday.
