By Darrell Jackson | The Glendale Star

The Glendale Planning Commission continues to approve growth opportunities after approving the rezoning of 1,340 acres of land near Luke Air Force Base (LAFB) for Woolf Logistic.

Council is expected to approve the annexation and rezoning later this year of the proposed land at 8805 N. Reems Road near Northern and Peoria avenues west of 143rd Avenue and Luke Air Force Base.

“We are just really excited to have the opportunity to work with the Woolf family and bring this property into the Glendale city limits,” said Planning Director Jon Froke. “We are looking forward to working with them to bring jobs into Glendale near Luke Air Force Base, as we continue to expand the city.”

Woolf Logistics plans to use the property and build warehouses to house goods and products and for possible manufacturing.
