[UPDATED] Pinal County Prop 416 and 417 early returns; big yes on 416, yes with narrow margin on 417

Election results for Propositions 416 and 417 are coming in with one of Pinal County’s 102 precincts fully reported. ClarityElections for Pinal County is reporting voters have resoundingly said yes on Prop 416, which would approve the Regional Transportation Authority’s (RTA) county-wide road project plan. The margin is 56.15% to 43.85%.

Prop 417, which would create a half-cent sales tax to fund the above-noted county-wide RTA plan, is coming in at yes by a narrow margin of 50.24% to 49.76%.

The number of votes received yesterday was 37,162 out of 197,650 registered voters.

UPDATE: 11/9/2017 – 12:45PM: 102 out of 102 Pinal County Precincts have completely reported.

Yes votes are still leading Prop 416 with 26,399 to 19,944.

The Prop 417 tallies show 23,635 voting Yes, and 22,734 voting No, with a lead of 901 votes.

Ballots cast are up to 47,061 out of 197,650 Pinal County voters.
