Trump tax plan draws ire, but may boost metro Phoenix’s housing market

President Donald Trump’s proposed tax overhaul has raised protests from national home-builder and Realtor groups that believe it will slow home sales and harm housing markets.

But the tax changes, if passed, may not hurt metro Phoenix’s housing market as much as others, particularly markets on the West Coast.

That’s because the Valley has lower home prices than other big cities.
