Housing development planned for Apache Junction

Kauffman Homes is proposing to build another gated community in Apache Junction, if it gets past Planning and Zoning and onto the City Council.

The subdivision, dubbed Stagecoach Trails, would be located on the southeast corner of West Roundup Street and North Main Drive. It is so named because the property’s north 10 acres contains one of the last remaining identifiable southeast-bound stretches of the old stagecoach trail, also referred to as the old Globe Highway.
