Arizona State University’s baseball program, the Chicago Cubs and the Oakland Athletics are in a game of musical ballparks.
All three are moving, but it’s not yet determined where the A’s and ASU will land.
ASU could end up in Mesa, sharing a new $99 million ballpark with the Chicago Cubs. That ballpark, set to open at the Riverview development in 2014, is being built by the city of Mesa.
ASU and the Cubs have not yet reached a partnership deal. If they don’t, the university baseball team could move to Phoenix instead.
