Former D-backs manager and Chicago Cubs commentator Bob Brenly, and ESPN anchor Steve Berthiaume will succeed Mark Grace and Daron Sutton in the D-backs television booth, the team announced today.

Berthiaume is one of the hosts of ESPN’s Baseball Tonight.

Brenly, who replaced Steve Stone in the booth in 2005, is expected to be announced soon as the replacement for Mark Grace in the Diamondbacks’ broadcast booth.

Brenly won a World Series as manager of the Diamondbacks in 2001 before being fired in 2004 and still makes his home in Phoenix.

While Brenly leaves with no regrets, he simply said it was time to move on.

“It was great fun,” he said. “It was the experience of a lifetime in my professional career, as much ridiculous fun as is humanly possible. The people I worked with, the crew and everyone were all great. I was grateful for the chance and the joy of working at Wrigley Field.
