Fountain Hills rejects report conclusion town is fine with slow growth

Fountain Hills is a great place to live on the outskirts of the Valley, and is fairly content with the type and level of economic activity in the town.

That’s the perception among many in other parts of the Valley in terms of the town’s interest in attracting new economic activity, according to a report prepared for the town’s Strategic Planning Advisory Commission by Arizona State University’s New Venture Group.

The report was presented at a recent Town Council work-study session.

The report, titled “An Overview of Potential Economic Development Options for Fountain Hills,” was prepared by the student-consulting group of honors students and MBAs in ASU’s W.P. Carey School of Business.
