A year and $6.9 million later, Central Arizona College’s Don P. Pence Center for the Visual and Performing Arts opens to the public this weekend with a remodeled house and lobby and state-of- the-art technology.
The Saturday grand reopening celebration includes three live performances.

The Gin Blossoms — a Tempe-based American pop rock band best known for “Hey Jeal- ousy,” “Found Out About You,” the “Major Lodge Victory” album and the “No Chocolate Cake” album — perform at 7 p.m.
