Rising home values predicted to continue in the West Valley

All but three Northwest Valley ZIP Codes saw rising home values in the first eight months of the year, according to an Arizona Republic analysis of data from the Information Market.

More than two-thirds saw leaps of greater than 10 percent.

For bargain hunters, “Right now, buyers have the lowest prices they are going to find,” said Jim Belfiore, president of Belfiore Real Estate Consulting.

A shortage of available resale and new homes coupled with a strong demand from homebuyers led to the increase. And Belfiore doesn’t see it stopping.
