Pinal County Supervisor Pete Rios was present at the Copper Corridor Economic Development Coalitions Economic Success forum in Superior to present a check for $50,000 to the organization.

The funds help to operate the organization and provide economic development support to the 11 mining communities in the Copper Corridor. Rios thanked the group for their dedication to their region and said they were always impressed with what the group accomplishes.

This month the group met at Los Hermanos to host a forum on economic success. Forty community leaders from throughout the region attended and discussed ways to improve the workforce and economic conditions of the area.
