Arizona’s medical marijuana law doesn’t permit the identity of addresses of medical marijuana dispensaries, but the first one approved is in Glendale.
Ryan Hurley, who is head of the Rose Law Group Medical Marijuana Dept. and represents Arizona Organix, says the facility won’t open right away.
Hurley says Arizona Organix still has some work to do and doesn’t plan to open its dispensary before Thanksgiving. He was interviewed today on KTVK 3, CBS 5 and ABC 15
Director of Health Services Will Humble says a dispensary applicant in Glendale received the approval late today after passing an inspection without any major deficiencies.
Once it opens, it means that medical marijuana cardholders living within 25 miles of the facility will no longer be able to grow their own marijuana.
