Growth for Ariz next year; jobs improvement 3 years off [VIDEO]

Those mild predictions came from national and regional economists who spoke Wednesday at the 49th Economic Forecast Luncheon co-sponsored by Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey’s School of Business and JPMorgan Chase.

They predicted the economy for Arizona and the nation as a whole would grow slowly in 2013, somewhere in the low 2 percent range.

Lee McPheters, professor of Economics at the W.P. Carey school, offered a bit of a silver lining to the predicted modest growth on KAET’s “Horizon.”
