Laura A. Bianchi is the head of RLG’s Estate Planning and Asset Protection Department and concentrates her practice in the areas of estate, special needs, domestic partnership, and business succession planning. Laura assists estate planning clients by ensuring they have a complete and effective estate plan in place that conserves and protects assets, minimizes taxes, protects future generations, and meets their unique and individualized personal and professional objectives. She also assists business and corporate clients in a wide variety of ways, including corporate formation and entity structure, financing, and acquisition and disposition negotiations. Laura is also an integral part of the RLG Medical Marijuana practice group assisting the firm’s clients with general business needs and all stages of the Arizona Department of Health Services Medical Marijuana Program.
Laura is passionate about providing planning assistance to families with a child or loved one with a cognitive and/or physical disability, as she believes it is imperative to provide the necessary information and knowledge regarding all of the options and methods of planning available, as well as guidance and support with implementation, to ensure the plan’s effectiveness.
Laura serves on the Arizona Special Olympics’ Executive Board of Directors and is an active member of the National Cannabis Industry Association, Brain Injury Association of Arizona, State Bar Association of Arizona, Arizona Women Lawyer Association, Urban Land Institute and Pinal Partnership. Laura also donates her time and expertise to a variety of other local and national charitable organizations. Laura earned her Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School and received a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Political Science, with a language emphasis in American Sign Language, from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
