Since the December 2011 public scoping meetings, possible parkway-concept corridor alternatives have been identified between State Route 347 and Interstate 10 to provide additional capacity and connectivity. In addition, the team is evaluating the consequences of not constructing a new transportation facility, known as the No Build Alternative.
Members of the public are invited to attend one of two community information meetings. The purpose of the meetings is to engage the public for comments and suggestions on the proposals and alternatives.
A brief presentation on the study will be made at each meeting, followed by an open house during which representatives from the cities, county and study team can answer questions.
The presentation will be the same at each meeting.
In addition, detailed maps displaying the initial parkway concepts will be available at the meetings:
