Street of Dreams picks Gilbert for return to Valley

The luxury-home tour called Street of Dreams is using Gilbert’s Whitewing at Germann Estates community to make its return to the Valley after a 12-year absence. Organizers said they picked Gilbert for the tour, running Oct.19-Dec.1, because it often comes up on lists of America’s most liveable cities. Gilbert last hosted the tour in 1987, when the town’s population was a paltry 9,000, far less than the current 220,000. The show was last in the Valley at Troon in Scottsdale in 2001 and last in Arizona in the Oro Valley in 2007.
