Former Ahwatukee couple harvest longtime winery dream

There are those who dream of following a new path, and there are those who walk it.

For Rhona MacMillan and Mark Jorve, formerly of Ahwatukee, that path led them to Willcox, where they established a winery named Zarpara.

After two years of commuting from Ahwatukee to Cochise County, their work on their vineyard bore the fruit that helped them establish their winery.

Now, they’re ready to introduce their wines to Ahwatukee. From 1 to 4 p.m. March 10, the couple will showcase their wines at Wedge & Bottle, 4025 E. Chandler Blvd., Suite 44.
