The Town of Marana Finance Department has awarded a Distinguished Budget Presentation Award by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA).
The award is for the Town’s Fiscal Year 2013 budget and comprehensive financial plan. To earn the award, a governmental unit must publish a budget document that meets program criteria as a policy document, financial plan, operations guide and communications device.
Marana has earned the award for the past six years.
The GFOA is a nonprofit association that serves 17,500 government finance professionals in North America.
