Crown Realty & Development and the Town of Paradise Valley have agreed to the terms of how the site of the proposed redevelopment of the Mountain Shadows Golf Resort ought to unfold.

The development agreement — the nuts and bolts of the deal including in-lieu municipal bed tax payments and how quickly the existing buildings will be demolished — will be discussed at length 4 p.m. Thursday, March 28 at Town Hall, 6401 E. Lincoln Drive.

“We are not expecting a vote,” Rick Carpinelli, Crown Realty senior vice president, said in a March 25 phone interview of what he thinks will transpire Thursday.

Paradise Valley Mayor Scott LeMarr has said publicly only once a development agreement is made public could a vote transpire on Crown Realty’s pending special-use permit for the construction of the property.

That happened Friday, March 22.

Crown Realty officials say they expect a vote to occur either Thursday, April 4 or Thursday, April 11.
