Laura Bianchi, chair of Rose Law Group’s Estate Planning and Asset Protection Department, has a new addition to her family. He goes by Romeo.
Romeo is Laura’s eight-week old Yorkshire Terrier puppy, and he is absolutely adorable. Romeo has already become a Rose Law Group team member with his frequent visits. After losing her beloved Pomeranian Mookie just after the holidays, Laura decided life just wasn’t as happy or fulfilling without the unconditional love, smiles and happiness that a dog brings to your life. So after countless hours of research and conversations with family, friends, breeders and other animal lovers, she found a wonderful, experienced and trustworthy breeder here in Scottsdale, Arizona. A few visits and one week later, Romeo adopted Laura.
Romeo is sweet and loveable, very smart and also completely spicy, curious and a bit mischievous. He loves to play, cuddle and, of course, be the center of attention. He loves his Mommy, but already has a special place for his Auntie, Grandma and Grandpa who absolutely love spoiling and loving him as well. You can sometimes find him curled up with his blanket on his Mom’s lap while she works, or diligently attacking toys that are usually twice his size, or prancing around investigating every nook and corner of whatever room he’s in.
Laura grew up always having a dog and was known to bring home any animal she could get her hands on, including the neighbor’s cat because, as she explained to her Mom, “He was just wandering around alone and needed a home!”
“Animals teach you unconditional love, compassion, nonjudgment, laughter and pure joy. Anyone who goes through life never knowing the special relationship between an animal and its adopted Mom or Dad, is thoroughly missing out on some of the most important aspects, lessons and experiences in life.” Laura said.
Laura explains it is so important for those people who love their pets to ensure they have an estate plan that includes plans for the care, maintenance and happiness of their furry family members as well. It’s essential to plan for your pets guardianship and care, as well as provide the financial means to care for your pet, as well as all the details your selected guardian would need, including your pet’s likes, dislikes, medical history, habits, fears, favorite food, treats and toys, routine, veterinary doctor, vaccinations, etc. Making sure your beloved pets are cared for, loved and placed in a safe home will ensure you never ever have to worry about your pet being taken to a shelter or worse. It’s extremely important.
