Brewer goes against the grain in NYC

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer certainly knows how to stir the pot.

Brewer was recently in New York for events and media interviews and took jabs at New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and the new politically correct way the media is referring to immigrants who are in the country illegally.

Brewer —and/or her staff — posted a picture of the chipper governor drinking a Double Big Gulp from 7 Eleven. “After walking around New York City today. I stopped to enjoy a refreshing Double Gulp from 7.11. Cheers Mayor Mike Bloomberg #Freedom,” Brewer posted on her Facebook page.

Bloomberg has sought some limits on soft drink sizes in an effort to battle obesity. Conservatives and libertarians have not liked that government push.

Brewer also took on the immigration issue again.
