Gehan Homes enters Arizona market with Surprise community

A Texas homebuilder has decided to enter Arizona and is already in high gear to build four new communities throughout metro Phoenix this year.

Gehan Homes, a privately owned home builder based in Dallas, is kicking off its Arizona presence in Surprise with a community called Hacienda at Greer Ranch, located near Cactus and Reems roads, according to a company statement Wednesday. Later this year, Gehan will also build homes at the Vistancia, Palm Valley and Bridges of Gilbert master-planned communities located in Peoria, Goodyear and Gilbert, respectively.

The first 66-lot community in Surprise will also introduce Gehan’s new series of homes geared for the move-up home buyer.
