In an office on the third floor of the Arizona Capitol Complex, two men sit in stark contrast to each other.
District 11 Rep. Adam Kwasman is a bundle of nervous energy who alternates between sitting, standing, bouncing his knee up and down and resting his feet on his desk. District 8 Rep. T.J. Shope is the definition of understated: easygoing, calm, quiet, relaxed and laid-back.
Despite personality differences, Kwasman and Shope share more than a few things in common. Both are freshman legislators in the House of Representatives, and both are young and Republican. Kwasman is 30 years old, and Shope, 27, is the second-youngest member of the Legislature.
