Phoenix/Gilbert/Queen Creek/Goodyear – Five Valley builders have paid a combined $19.576 million to purchase 415 lots located across the Valley. The cash deals show that the activity in the Phoenix area housing market continues to remain at a steady clip as the home builders scramble to acquire land for subdivisions in all parts of the Valley from east to west and north to south. The five newly planned subdivisions listed below are just a fraction of the land acquisitions completed in 2013. All of the builders identified in this article have purchased multiple parcels this year and the companies are all looking for more residential land throughout the Phoenix area. Here are five transactions completed during the past four months: Richmond American Homes of Arizona LLC in Scottsdale (David Viger, pres.) paid $6.6+ million to purchase 38 finished lots located near the northeast corner of 56th Street and Lone Mountain Road in the Cave Creek area of north Phoenix.
