Tooth extraction, watching someone’s limbs/appendages being bent the wrong way, deep dark water, snakes and body odor are just a few of the responses in a national survey that asked people what creeps them out.
Here are some samples from the Rose Law Group family:
“Outerspace creeps me out. I’m fascinated by the solar system, but thinking about how we’re just floating in an endless amount of space creeps me out. Shows anything is possible.” ~ Melissa Johnson
“Gnomes and bats.” ~ Phil Riske
“More of a bizarre irrational fear I have had since I was a kid — moths! Yep, they send me into hysteria; not spiders, snake, just moths.
“When in college my Mom and I went to the Butterfly Pavilion in Boulder, and they sent us into the ‘room’ with all the rare butterflies. Well, butterflies are to me just like moths, and no one told me they were just flying around and landing wherever they wanted! I almost had a panic attack as I tried my best not to flail and swat at the world’s rarest butterflies.
“Needless to say no moths or butterflies for me.” ~ Laura Bianchi
“Sorry, when people, usually guys, literally stare you up and down. Gives me the willies.” ~ Jennifer Alvarez
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Belly Shirts.” ~ Jennifer Hall
