Arizona State Sen. Crandall named head of Wyoming Department of Education

Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead has named Arizona Sen. Rich Crandall the new head of the state’s Department of Education, the governor announced Wednesday afternoon.

Crandall, who announced his intention in March to resign from the state Senate, said then his “dream job has come through,” and has since spoken fondly of the possibility of taking the helm of the education department in Wyoming.
