Diane Archer, finance director for the city of Casa Grande, was placed on administrative leave Tuesday, City Manager Jim Thompson said, following her Mon- day arrest for aggravated assault and domestic violence.
Archer, 55, was arrested and released by Casa Grande police officers Monday, accused of aggravated assault and domestic violence, after a run-in with her ex-fiancé.
Police plan to recommend to the Pinal County Attorney’s Office that felony charges be filed against Archer, department spokesman Thomas Anderson said. Butthatpaper work hadn’t yet Archer been forwarded to the county attorney Tuesday afternoon.
Police received a 911 emergency call at 3:15 p.m. Monday reporting that Archer had driven her auto into a pickup owned by Ricky Jackman. Jackman and Archer were once engaged, police said.
