After rounds of earlier interviews, five candidates vying to become Coconino County’s manager outlined their plans for the public on Monday evening and took a few difficult questions.
They’re competing to work late-night meetings and manage more than 1,000 employees and a budget of about $180 million.
Each employee was asked to outline what he or she would do in the first 100 days after taking the job in an agency responsible for courts, health, land-use decisions and law enforcement outside of the county’s incorporated cities.
