Paradise Valley residents come to terms on revamp deal

While the Town of Paradise Valley has agreed to the redevelopment plan of the property known as the Mountain Shadows Golf Resort a fight carries on at the District of Arizona U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

But it appears sharpened negotiations between homeowners and the developer may be coming to a close.

The Mountain Shadows West Board of Directors is expected to vote favorably Tuesday, June 25 on a verbal agreement hatched by representatives of Crown Realty & Development and the community’s resort committee in terms of access to coming resort amenities and land-use changes.

“I am hopeful that we are actually making good solid progress with west,” Rick Carpinelli, Crown Realty & Development senior vice president of development, said in a June 25 phone interview.
