Real estate hit by health care, weather and system shocks

Health care demand, natural disasters, energy and technology may seem dissimilar, but real estate experts say those issues are interrelated, and they are a few of the factors having the greatest impact on their industry this year.

Last week, the Counselors of Real Estate organization released its 2013 Top 10 Issues Affecting Real Estate, which is adjusted each year to reflect changing economic and societal conditions.

Here’s a look at those factors and how they’ll impact all forms of real estate:
