Scottsdale’s Axis/Radius shut down, being replaced by craft-beer hall, concert venue

After 16 years, the time has come for an iconic downtown Scottsdale nightclub complex to face the wrecking ball.

After a “Blackout” party Friday night and a “Last Call” party Saturday night, Axis/Radius is shut down to make way for a new entertainment destination that’s more compatible with nearby, newer venues. The complex is at Indian Plaza across from Maya Day + Nightclub, Shawn Yari’s new beach club.

The new complex will include Bottle Blonde, a craft-beer hall with an expansive outdoor patio, and Livewire, an indoor live-entertainment venue that will accommodate about 1,000 patrons.
