Board approves budget that includes raise for Mohave County employees

The Mohave County supervisors approved the final budget Monday that will see an employee pay increase for the first time in many years.

The board of supervisors approved the final 2013-14 fiscal year budget. The budget includes a 2.5 percent cost of living increase for the 695 county employees, the first  pay raise in more than five years. The pay raise is for county employees who have been with the county for more than six months as of July 1, Mohave County Finance Director John Timko said.
