Developers of a proposed 165- foot high-rise apartment building and 110-foot hotel on Casa Grande’s east end will revise their plans before seeking approval from the Casa Grande Planning and Zoning Commission.
The commission was scheduled to review the plans Thursday, but the item was pulled from the agenda at the request of the applicant.
The applicant, AZ Outlet Investment, Wednesday asked that the plans be tabled until September, said Planning and Development Director Paul Tice.
The continuance will allow the developer “to continue to try to address the issues and the concerns that staff noted in our report,” Tice said.
Planning and Development staff had recommended the application be denied, saying in a report that several parts of the plan did not meet city code and that the building types were not compatible with the surrounding area.
