Last week several builders closed on over 600 lots on more than 200 acres within Phase III of DMB’s Verrado MPC totaling $25+ million in sales in just two days. 408 lots are located in phase III and 505 are in phase IV. All lots were final platted August 9th, 2013 and as part of the transactions, all of the builders in Phase III South entered lot completion agreements with additional deferred consideration. Phase III will include three builders that are new to Verrado including AV Homes, Lennar, and Mattamy. Meritage and Maracay, who are actively building in Verrado, will also join the mix in Phase III. Phase III site improvements are already underway. As mentioned in a previous report, Shea homes will also join Verrado as a new builder. Shea will build out a previous phase of Verrado which is already developed.
