Archer entered her pleas at a July 19 arraignment. A pretrial conference is scheduled for Aug. 27.

She is charged with aggravated assault, failing to comply with a police officer and two counts of criminal property damage stemming from her June 24 arrest after she allegedly rammed her car into a pickup owned by her ex-fiance.

Archer was put on administrative leave by City Manager Jim Thompson on June 25 and submitted her resignation on July 19. She is completing some tasks for the city through Aug. 9, which is her final day as a city employee, according to city officials.

Archer had worked as the city finance director since August 2008, replacing Larry Rains who was appointed deputy city manager.
