Cachet Homes opened at Santa Rita in the northeast Valley the first weekend in August. Homes in the gated community are base priced from $334,900 to $392,900 and are 1,744 square feet to 2,771 square feet. The lots offered are 50’x110’ and Cachet is offering 40’ wide homes. All lots face north-south, which has helped make it popular. Since opening, the builder has been inundated with calls and currently has a waiting list of 500 potential buyers! They are actually selling via a drawing system. Six sales contracts have been written and two additional will be written prior to the end of the month. Cachet President, Matt Cody, suggests the builder could sell 50 of the 100 homes prior to its models being completed in mid-October- if it wanted to. The builder, though, will limit sales to six per month. Buyers already living in the area are excited about the new homes’ energy efficiency levels.
