Glendale City Manager Brenda Fischer on Friday placed Assistant City Manager Horatio Skeete on paid administrative leave until an ongoing external audit into the city’s finances and a new investigation involving Skeete are complete.
Fischer declined to discuss the new allegations.
“It’s a personnel matter and he’s entitled to due process, so I’m not going to speak about it publicly,” Fischer told The Arizona Republic . “I’m going to allow that due process to occur.”
Skeete did not return calls seeking comment late Friday.
