Shakeup at Glendale City Hall: assistant manager put on leave

Glendale City Manager Brenda Fischer on Friday placed Assistant City Manager Horatio Skeete on paid administrative leave until an ongoing external audit into the city’s finances and a new investigation involving Skeete are complete.

Fischer declined to discuss the new allegations.

“It’s a personnel matter and he’s entitled to due process, so I’m not going to speak about it publicly,” Fischer told The Ari­zona Republic . “I’m going to allow that due process to occur.”

Skeete did not return calls seeking comment late Friday.
