Taylor Morrison Homes adding to lot inventory with $29 million in acquisitions

taylor morrisonPhoenix/Mesa/Peoria/Gilbert – In the past six months, Taylor Morrison/Arizona Inc. in Scottsdale (Charlie Enochs, div. pres.) has spent $29+ million in cash to buy land for six Valley subdivisions. The properties are located in Phoenix, Mesa, Peoria and Gilbert. In the three most recently closed purchases, Taylor Morrison paid a combined $20.439 million to acquire sites in Phoenix and Mesa that are targeted for almost 300 residences in three subdivisions. Taylor Morrison paid $9 million to purchase 154 finished lots within the Dynamite Mountain Ranch community near the northeast corner of Happy Valley Road and Interstate 17 in Phoenix. The seller was SWVP PTE LLC, a company formed by Southwest Value Partners in San Diego, Calif. (Robert Sarver, Mark Schlossberg, partners). The transaction was brokered by Nate Nathan, Dave Mullard and Casey Christensen of Nathan & Associates Inc. in Scottsdale. The lots average 5,175 sq. ft. (45×115). Continue reading
